Florian Neuschwander, the shooting star on the German running scene, really has an amazing amount of fun when he runs. And seems to be coolness incarnate, even over long distances. Any other way the trained retail salesman would’ve hardly been able to hack the tremendous training program which catapulted him into the elite of extreme long-distance runners. He handled the 193 km of the TransRockies Run (at an altitude of 6,000m), for example, in six days coming in first.
